Whelping/Weaning Combo Set
This combo contains the Dura-Whelp® Whelping Box, Weaning Pen and Half Door.
Made from 100% Polypropylene Corrugated Plastic, the Dura-Whelp® Whelping Box and Weaning Pen are the cleanest, easiest and safest whelping system on the market. The whelping box features a sliding door and puppy rails that are fully suspended from the floor to maximize floor space and ease in cleaning. Also included is a full solid floor for both the whelping box and weaning pen to keep your carpet and hard floors clean.
The weaning pen sets up in minutes and attaches to the door area of your Dura-Whelp® whelping box. Puppies are able to exit the whelping box and enter the weaning pen area to play, eat, and most importantly, poop. Your puppies will naturally develop better strength, health, and potty skills by using the weaning pen.
This arrangement simulates the natural puppy den where they are able to have the space to sleep in, a porthole area, and a new safe area to explore. If the added space isn’t provided at weaning time, you are training your puppies to potty in the house. This gives your litter the additional space they want and need for: Eating, Playing, and Pooping.
Many breeders have wanted the half door to use with the weaning pen and whelping box so we decided to include it in this combo.
***The sizes listed are the dimensions for just the whelping box. The weaning pen is the same size as the whelping box. The 60” on the X-Large whelping box is the side that the door is on.

It is very important to get the correct size of box for your breed. The size of the box determines the height of the puppy rails which are tailored to protect your puppies from getting pushed up against the sides of the box.
Puppy rail (pig rail) height from floor:
S —– 2-1/2 inches
M —– 4 inches
L —– 4 inches
XL —– 4 1/2 inches
Getting the wrong size of box will put your puppies in danger because as they grow, their head may not fit under the rails.
