The surface that your new pups live on is important. For strong joints, muscles, and bodies, this surface should offer traction, consistency, dryness, and cleanliness. Some whelping pads slip around and bunch up which presents the risk of puppies getting “lost” underneath. The Dura-Whelp® whelping pads are specificallydesigned to prevent pads from slipping around and bunching up! The Dura-Whelp Pads make it easy to give your pups the best surface possible.

Our Dura-Whelp® pads feature:

• Pile height fabric construction with no loops that could endanger puppy toenails.

• Heavy-duty striped “non-skid” backing helps keep pad in place and allows moisture to pass through.

• Velcro squares are stitched on the corners to attach to the floor of your Dura-Whelp® whelping box or weaning pen.

• Pads are moisture wicking keeping your puppies dry

• Machine Washable

The warming system is an incubator to keep your new puppies warm enough. Specifically designed with safety and functionality in mind, the Therma-Whelp™ warming system sets up in minutes and has no cords inside the whelping box.

The weaning pen is made out of polypropylene corrugated plastic. Designed for use with your Dura-Whelp® whelping box.

Dura-Whelp® weaning pens come with a full floor to help keep urine/feces off your floor.

The weaning pen comes with

• Walls as a single complete unit

• A floor

• A door frame without a door (use the door that came with your Dura-Whelp® whelping box.)

  The weaning pen does NOT have rails and is made to be an accessory to the Dura-Whelp® whelping box. This box is NOT intended to be used in place of the whelping box.

  Sets up in seconds and attaches to the door area of your Dura-Whelp® whelping box. Puppies are able to exit the whelping box and enter the weaning pen area to play, eat, and most importantly, poop. Your puppies will naturally develop better strength, health, and potty skills by using the weaning pen.

  This arrangement simulates the natural puppy den where they are able to have the space to sleep in, a porthole area, and a new safe area to explore. If the added space isn’t provided at weaning time, you are training your puppies to potty in the house.
