Does not come with a pad. If you would like a Dura-Whelp Whelping Pad you will need to order this item separately. We recommend at least 2 of these to rotate them through the wash.

Made from 100% polypropylene corrugated plastic providing a light-weight, easy to clean surface that is durable.
Box walls come as a single completed unit eliminating slots, cracks or crevices where feces and urine could accumulate.
Assembly simply requires 4 screws (screws included with every box) and a screwdriver. Assembly can be done in under ten minutes.
The Vinyl Puppy Rails offer added safety, so you can sleep at night and are INCLUDED with every whelping box

The entire Dura-Whelp® whelping-box can be easily cleaned with Bleach, Quatricide or other detergents or disinfectants.

It is very important to get the correct size of box for your breed. The size of the box determines the height of the puppy rails which are tailored to protect your puppies from getting pushed up against the sides of the box.
Puppy rail (pig rail) height from floor:
S —– 2-1/2 inches
M —– 4 inches
L —– 4 inches
XL —– 4 1/2 inches
Getting the wrong size of box will put your puppies in danger because as they grow, their head may not fit under the rails.
